| The Combat Medic Association
had been in the planning stages for quit sometime. On 1 September 2001
the Combat Medic Association became a reality. By Proclamation, the
official starting date of the Combat Medic Association is changed from 1
September 2001 to 11 September 2001. This Proclamation is; 1. In tribute to the Military personnel and Civilians who lost their lives in, or responding to, the devastating terrorist attack on the Pentagon and New York City and the Pennsylvania plane crash on 11 September 2001. 2. In support of Military retaliation against terrorism worldwide. 3. Stand ready to Assist in National or local medical emergencies, caused by terrorist or nature. September 1, 2001 The Combat Medic Association was off to a great start. We filed as a not for profit origination with the IRS. The internet and mail Recruiting effort started in earnest. We were given space on the internet by House of McGinley Enterprise at no cost to CMA. Established a Web Site at http://www.searchour.net /cma. (Later changed to www.combatmedic.org) September 15, 2001 The IRS assigned our Employer Identification Number. (56-2268934) November 2001 In preparation of our Recruiting Drive that was planned for January 2002, we put an add into Special Forces Association Chapter 37 newsletter "The Sneaky Pete". We planned to run this add continuously.December 2001 For the same reason as above, we put an add in "The Drop". The Drop is the official quarterly magazine published by The Special Forces Association . This magazine has a world wide circulation. Again we plan to run this add continuously. On the 14th of December we filed our final paperwork with the IRS for our tax exempt status. Special Forces publications were chosen because of their track record and to reach 18D’s (Special Forces Medics)January 2002 Membership (nation wide) Recruiting program started on 10 January 2002.February 2002 Started planning the replacement of our volunteer (nonmember) Board of Advisors with a Board of Directors consisting of our members.July 22, 2002 CMA's application to Incorporate was approved; (Combat Medic Association INC.) March 2002 Sent a letter to all members who indicated (on their application) they would serve as Officer or on our Board of Directors. The letter contained a Response Form indicating if they would serve or not. Out of the 13 letters sent, 10 Indicated they would serve, 1 Declined and 2 Didn’t respond in a timely manor and were not considered.April 30 2002 Received Tax Exempt letter form the IRS Members of our first Board of Directors

GARY B. BEIKIRCH, December 20, 2002 Received Tax Exempt letter form North Carolina Dept. of Revenue. December 31 2002 By this date we had 70 Members, 32 Life, 34 Annual, and 4 Honorary. January 1 2003 Started working on CMA Chapter Table of Organization. February 5 2003
